The cover of the drone battery is an important structure to prevent battery explosion and liquid leakage fire. The aluminum plastic cover damage of lithium polymer battery will directly lead to battery fire or explosion. The battery should be handled with care. When fixing the battery on the aircraft, the tie should be tightened. It is possible that the drone battery will be thrown out due to the loose ties during large dynamic flight or aircraft crash, which is also easy to cause damage to the battery cover.
Short circuit often occurs in the process of battery welding line maintenance and transportation. A short circuit will directly lead to battery ignition or fire explosion. When it is found that the drone battery is broken after being used for a period of time and the wire needs to be rewelded, special attention should be paid not to contact the positive and negative electrodes of the battery at the same time. In addition, during the transportation of batteries, the best way is to put each battery in a self-sealing bag and put it in the explosion-proof box, so as to prevent short circuit caused by the contact of positive and negative electrodes with other conductive materials at the same time or cover damage due to bumps and collisions during transportation.
Many players will ignore this principle. In high altitude areas, low-temperature weather often occurs.
